Classical guitar also known as nylon string guitar or Spanish guitar. It has round body and its strings are made of nylon which is very soft as compare to steel string guitar. Classical guitar neck is thick and because of round body with it is very hard to play after 12 fret of guitar. For classical folk music we usually use classical guitar.

Classical guitar is good for new learners the reason is its strings are soft so for new player there finger not hurt. Also if any kid like 6 years or above so they can also play it because it comes in small sizes too in same quality.

 

Acoustic guitars

Acoustic guitar also known as steel strings guitar. It come in both shape round body and f cut. F cut shape is good because when we have to play lower notes so its easy in f cut shape guitar. Its G D A and E string made from copper and other 2 E and B made from steel. Its neck usually thin as compare to classical guitar. For pop, funk or country music we can use acoustic guitar.

  • First major difference in both guitar is there strings in classical guitar it has nylon strings in acoustic guitar it has steel strings.

  • Both guitars have different bridge

  • Acoustic guitar use for pop, funk, jazz, country music and classical guitar use for eastern and finger style music

From my point of you if you are under 12 age classical guitar is best for you. REASON?

The main reason is its strings are made from nylon very soft as compare to steel string so if you are kid classical guitar is best for you it comes in small sizes too.

 Before learning about chords we have to know the theory of scales. There are 12 natural notes which are C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# B  in music with the help of these 12 notes we make different chords and scales

There are 7 sur in music SA – RE – GA – MA – PA – DHA – NI (OR) DO – RE – MI – FA – SO – LA – TI.

 

C Major Scale :

C – D – E – F – G – A – B

For C major chord we select 1st 3rd and 5th note from major scale means C E G. Now when we play C – E – G altogether on guitar so we can play C major chord.

 

D Major Scale :

D – E – F# – G – A – B – C#D major chord

For D major chord we select 1st 3rd 5th note from major scale means D F# A. Now when we play D – F# – A altogether on guitar so we can play D major chord.

 

E Major Scale :

E – F# – G# – A – B – C# – D#E major chord

For E major chord we select 1st 3rd 5th note from major scale means E G# B. Now when we play E – G# – B altogether on guitar so we can play E major chord.

 

F Major Scale :

F – G – A – A# – C – D – EF major chord

For F major chord we select 1st 3rd 5th note from major scale means F A C. Now when we play F – A – C altogether on guitar so we can play F major chord.

 

G Major Scale :

G – A – B – C – D – E – F#G major chord

For G major chord we select 1st 3rd 5th note from major scale means G B D. Now when we play G – B – D altogether on guitar so we can play F major chord.

A Major Scale :

A – B – C# – D – E – F# – GA major guitar chord

For A major chord we select 1st 3rd 5th note from major scale means A C# E. Now when we play A – C# – E altogether on guitar so we can play F major chord.

B Major Scale :

B – C# – D# – E – F# – G# – A#B major guitar chord
