When we move guitar tuning pegs clockwise and anti clock wise direction so we can loose and tight guitar strings, so with the help of tuning pegs we can tune our guitar. If we have to tight the strings so we remove tuning pegs on clock wise direction and to loose strings we move tuning pegs on anti clock wise direction.

The first step is to tune each string on the guitar individually. First start from the low E string by plucking it if the number show in mobile screen is in minus (-) so you have to move tuning pegs and tight your strings if the number so on plus (+) so loose guitar string with the help of tuning pegs. When the E string tune properly so it show (Right) sign on string which means that string is perfectly tune now,
STEP 02: Next tune the A string by plucking it and use same process as above.

For half step down tuning first we have to learn fret board names for guitar. Check the guitar fret board name in picture.
If we count from E low strings so our fret board name is like this (F F# G # A A# B C C# D D#) than again the 12th note is E. Means the name of our guitar strings is same name for the 12th note on that string.
For A string
A# B C C# D D# E F F# G G# than again the 12th note is A.
For D string
D# E F F# G G# A A# B C C# than again 12th note is D
For G string
G# A A# B C C# D D# E F F# than again G
For B string
B C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# than again B
For E string
E F F# G G# A A# B C C# D D# than again E.
In the above we tell you guitar string names so with the help of guitar strings with will do half step down tuning. Means if we are tune String E so for half step down tuning we tune it on D# with the same above process.
For A string we tune it on G#
For D string we tune it on C#
For G string we tune it on F#
For B string we tune it on A#
For string E we tune it on D#
Now we know the half step tuning strings name we can easily tune our guitar half step down now. Repeat the same process for standard guitar tuning just change the string names to half step down means D# G# C# F# A# D#
