If we count from E low strings so our fret board name is like this (F F# G # A A# B C C# D D#) than again the 12th note is E. Means the name of our guitar strings is same name for the 12th note on that string.

For A string
A# B C C# D D# E F F# G G# than again the 12th note is A.

For D string
D# E F F# G G# A A# B C C# than again 12th note is D

For G string
G# A A# B C C# D D# E F F# than again G

For B string
B C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# than again B

For E string
E F F# G G# A A# B C C# D D#  than again E.
